TRAVEL - The Asheville Airport

Here is a quick list of the cities that have direct flights to Asheville, NC.

• Minneapolis/St. Paul via Northwest
• Atlanta, Orlando, and Cincinnati via Delta
• Charlotte and Washington DC via US Airways
• Newark via Continental

I think that this covers almost everybody that will be flying to Asheville. If you don't see your city, take it up with this guy.

I hope everybody had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day. We took Beesly (our new puppy) to the Esplanade and then this happened while waiting for the bus:

Well, folks, we did it.  We can now answer the question that we've been asked tens of times over the past eight months.  

Shannon and I recently returned to our apartment in Boston after a long, exhausting pretty enjoyable trip to North Carolina.  We visited a few venues and, ultimately, decided on:

• Claxton Farm
• Saturday, August 8th 2009

The site is in the mountains, 10-15 minutes north of Asheville, NC, and is breathtaking.  I'll update this site with information regarding travel, leisure, registry, etc so stay tuned and thanks for visiting.
